DESCRIPTION
The N60 gear hobbing machine incorporates state of the art technology with (7) CNC axes, direct drive work- and cutter spindle, high speed cutter spindle for cutting gears up to Modul 2, reliable Fanuc Series 31i CNC controls and drive system with user friendly conversational data input, heavy duty construction, high accuracy same as ground gears, ideal for dry cutting, wet machining is available, with various loadings systems as well as skive hobbing of hardened Gears.
FEATURES
- Discharges chips right below cutting area, eliminating chip problems
- The hob spindle speed can be programed to up to 5000 RPM, drastically shortening the cutting time
- Allows input of cutting data on the conversation screen and performs necessary calculations automatically
- Capable of wet cutting when provided with a coolant unit (optional)
- High speed hobbing by dry cutting
- Dry /Wet hobbing of hardened materials
- Capable of skive hobbing (optional)
