We just completed the shipment of another Rebuilt Fellows 10-4 Gear Shaping Machine for Premier Gear in Corona California.
This Fellows includes the newest Fanuc 0i-MF CNC coupled with the latest Fanuc Alpha Drives Package and Heidenhain Feedback Systems. Like all our machines it contains our well known and simple to use Gear Shaping Conversational program which includes;
- Toe clamp avoidance positioning for the C axis
- User definable starting locations for Work and Tool angles
- Up to 5 sequential cuts
- Cut 1-4 skipping for quick size adjustments
- Size compensation for side shifted column offsets
- Internal and External cycles
- Programmable cutter Indexing to even out tool wear
- Program data storage and retrieval
- Inch or Metric switchable
- Optional segment gear cycle
The machine was additionally equipped with a removal MTB designed and manufactured tailstock and full wrap around guarding for operator safety and coolant splash/chip protection.
