The Fellows Shaping machine company out of Springfield Vermont entered into an agreement to manufacture Pfauter hobbers under license in the USA Sometime before 1964. There are many of these machine still operating, mainly consisting of original Pfauter internal mechanical parts, USA sourced electrical parts, USA assembly and a mixture of metric and inch parts.
Machine Tool Builders continues parts, service and repair support for these hybrid machines and we have successfully used these machine carcass frames as a starting point for numerous rebuild and CNC conversion processes.
