This well known brand of gear cutting equipment, existed well before WWII (look up WMW Module for more history). The name was changed as was the location after WWII, it has been synonymous with quality and innovation since its inception. Today this iconic brand is owned and operated by Gleason out of Rochester NY.
Machine Tool Builders luckily has a plethora of historical knowledge on the old and newer Pfauter platforms. We can assist you with some parts and service for pretty much all machines built before 1997 which is the year the acquisition happened. Unfortunately it is all but impossible to work with Gleason on Pfauter related projects. Nonetheless relying on decades of knowledge and a plethora of consultants, former employees and vendors, we are able to navigate our way through just about any rebuild, repair or service project on one of these Pfauter machines.
