MTB completes 3 Hofler Promat 400 Gear Grinder CNC Upgrades for our Country’s Military Industrial Complex

In mid 2023 MTB completed the last of 3 Hofler 400 grinder CNC upgrades for a military industrial complex operation, breathing new life into some aging gear grinding machines. And saving a significant capital machinery investment by the end user. We removed the antiquated and obsolete BWO Controls and Indramat drives, then installed the latest generation Fanuc CNC’s, drives and motors plus all new feedback systems for every axis of motion.  This project also provided us the opportunity to transition our form grinding platform from the Siemens 840 hardware to the Fanuc platform.
