Hamai of Japan has been producing high-precision horizontally-oriented hobbers since the early 1920's. The N60 hobbing machine incorporates state of the art technology with (7) CNC axes and is the most flexible workhorse of their product line. Featuring direct-drive work and cutter spindles, coupled with reliable Fanuc Series 31i CNC controls, these machines are capable of producing gears up to and including 2 Module / 2.4" DP. This machine is capable of dual hob operation with 200mm of hob shift capability.
User friendly controls in Inch or Metric provide for a friendly conversational interface with the machine requiring no G or M code programming. Heavy duty design & construction make these machines absolutely ideal for high accuracy requirements on smaller gears whether cutting DRY or WET. With various loading system options as well as optional skiving hobbing systems for hardened gears, these machines will be a welcome addition to your high-precision hobbing machine stable and will elevate your production to a whole new level.
