The (NEW) RGC 125 is the 'miniature' version of the original TFG machine - that is, it's a compact, stand-alone gear chamfering and deburring machine built around the Radial Gear Chamfering (RGC) process. It produces precise, repeatable chamfers on tooth edges—even on components with challenging geometries such as shaft shoulders, multiple gears, or other interfering contours. Operating in a high-speed dry cutting environment, the machine delivers consistent edge quality with short cycle times and minimal environmental impact.
Designed for maximum flexibility, the RGC 125 can process a wide range of components including spur gears, splines, sprockets, bevel gears, and worm gears. Its stand-alone configuration allows it to support multiple upstream machines—hobbing, shaping, or skiving—eliminating deburring bottlenecks and improving overall production flow. Changeovers are quick and straightforward, supported by an intuitive operator interface and excellent machine accessibility.
With a footprint of approximately 1.75 m², the RGC 125 fits easily into existing shop layouts while providing a highly efficient, cost-effective solution for modern gear finishing. By decoupling chamfering from the primary cutting process, manufacturers gain increased utilization, simplified setup, and the ability to process a broader range of parts without compromise.
