This Lorenz LS 424 gear shaper has been ***SOLD***  The machine underwent a complete re-control, reconditioning and modernization upgrades. We outfitted this shaper with brand new Fanuc 0i-MF CNC system, all new Fanuc Alpha HVi digital servomotors and drives as well as all new Fanuc Alpha series spindle  motor. The machine has a an automatic tool/cutter release system and a power clamping system for the work pieces. It also has a very high riser installed, 150mm. Also this series of machine is equipped with a hydro-static guide, hydro-static lower bushing and side pads for very rigid cutting and stable capability. NOTE: We can offer a tailstock if needed. The machine will come equipped with our renowned gear shaping software allowing for up to 4 sequential surfaces  to be shaped, each with 5 cut passes. The control has skip cut capability to allow skipping to any of the cuts, or the final pass for a minute size adjustment. It also has clamp avoidance features and  up and over cycle for splines or gears  deep inside a bore. You will be hard-pressed to find a Lorenz LS-424 in better condition than this one!  (Subject to prior sale)
