Back in the 1980’s Höfler made vitrified wheel generating gear grinders using the roll out method and base disc driven gear inspection machines. But their lineup has changed over the years to manufacturing primarily gear form grinders and they have added hobbing machines to their mix of offerings. We here at MTB still retain some knowledge from our training at Höfler in Germany back in the early 80’s So we can still support a limited range of issues on these older platforms. We can also now re-control Hofler Grinders using Fanuc or Siemens platforms and our our indigenous developed Form Grinding Software. in 2023 we completed 3 such re-controls on Hofler Promat 400 grinders for a large military industrial supplier in the central USA
